magnetic island

then i spent last thursday june 7th to saturday june 9th on magnetic island a little bit further down the east coast in queensland.

as you can see it's b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l there! the first day there it rained unfortunately, but the second day the weather was perfect. decided to rent a bike, which was a good idea exercise-wise, but GOD is that island hilly, pffffffff....
i did manage to bike ALL of the sealed road on the island, not that that was much more than say 20 km's, but considering how up & down it was all the time, i was pretty damn proud of myself!

vlieland pictures

ok, it's been a month ago since elise and me returned from the dutch island vlieland, but here's still some text about and pictures of our week there...like it or not!

first, here's our little kitchen...with elise being busy cooking in it

new bike

that loooks like a giraffe...well the colours at least :P
bought it for €15 (!!!) through marktplaats and will bring it with me to amsterdam tomorrow, as it's going to be my very own amsterdam-bike, finally! :D
