Robyn - With Every Heartbeat Acoustic, San Francisco W Hotel 2/7/08

This just gave me major gooseflesh...

My oh my...

This blog never gets a proper update anymore!

Have to say i often think about updating it, but then i think there's so much i want to update it with and then it just never happens. Bad, bad, bad i know!!!

Anyways, now i'll just update with some random piccies from the last few months and by writing down that i CAN'T wait 'til Tuesday!
What happens on Tuesday you wonder...? Well, Stina's arriving from Copenhagen that night!!! And on Saturday she's followed by Ailsa all the way from Milton Keys! :-P
Tuesday-night's gonna be a crazy night as it's the night before Queensday here, and that's BIG! And on Saturday we'll have a lil' party at my place with some peeps to celebrate both girls being here, it's gonna be awesome!!!

So here come the piccies...

First this was in January, went to see Robyn live in Amsterdam, both on stage & backstage! Was a great night, so happy she finally came to perform here and all my friends absolutely loved her show!

Here's Binkie enjoying the new chair i bought last fall

I think this was girl's night some time in February, don't remember much of that night though...

With my, now former, colleague travelguides in the beautiful city Zwolle on a very cold Saturday in February

Saskia & me went to Rotterdam in March, these were the highlights

Robyn - Konichiwa Bitches

Robyn has a new video out and it's g-r-e-a-t :)

one other thing, i've made a top 10 of my favourite songs of 2006. i think it's a nice idea although i find it very hard to make THE (as in definite) top 10...so the list might have looked slightly different if made on another day, but here's the one i made now anyway:

1. Sandy Mouche 'Spiderweb Suit'
2. Laleh 'Invisible (my song)'
3. Pete Murray 'Opportunity'
4. Deep Dish feat. Stevie Nicks 'Dreams'
5. Kleerup feat. Robyn 'With Every Heartbeat'
6. Scissor Sisters 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing'
7. Snow Patrol 'Chasing Cars'
8. Helena Josefsson 'By Your Side'
9. Lisa Miskovsky 'Mary'
10. Jenny Wilson 'Let My Shoes Lead me Forward'

Dream on

Christian Falk feat. Robyn & Ola Salo

Thugs and badmen
punks and liars
fucked up interns
pigs and snitches

Rest your weary heads, all is well

You won't be strip-searched, torn up tonight
you won't be cut up, bleeding tonight
you won't be strung out, cold, shaking to your bones
wishing you were anywhere else but right here
So dream on

Thieves and muggers
tricks and hustlers
cheats and traitors
scum and low-lives

Rest your weary heads, all is well

You won't be sad or broken tonight
you won't be squealed on, ripped up tonight
you won't be back-stabbed, double cross, face down
teeth knocked out, lying in a gutter somewhere
So dream on

Freaks and junkies
fakes and phonies
drunks and cowards
manic preachers

Rest your weary heads, all is well

You won't be pushed down or messed with tonight
you won't be lied to, ruffed up tonight
You won't be insane, paranoid, obsessed
aimlessly wandering through the dark night
So dream on
