queensday weekend was... weird...not the best ever but still good...in different ways. vague...yes but that's what it was.
friday night elise & me headed to town somewhere around 00:00...to find out there weren't that many people selling their stuff on the streets yet. normally it's pretty busy already during 'koninginnenacht' but the cold kept lots of people at home i guess.
we ended up in the bar...which was totally (over)crowded! it was fun for a while but...we got sore feet & a bit out of breath in the end...so we went to see if it was any better somewhere else, of course it wasn't so we went back to E's place and sat & talked for a while...a long while! all of a sudden we noticed it was getting light already haha! was back home around 5:30 :P
saturday i slept for a loooooooong time, so i only went to elise's place late in the afternoon. we headed to town to find that the 'market' was over already of course...people just left all the stuff they didn't sell on the streets...nice! we decided to have a proper dinner...at our favourite mexican restaurant rose's cantina...it was *mjammy*!!! maybe we shouldn't have had the dessert though...we were soooooooo full afterwards! but who can say no to cheese- & chocolatecake :D
tonight we headed to atlantis, where 'take me out' was booked for the evening...it was pretty cool except for the reggae music some in-between dj's were playing...we weren't coming for that you know! anyway...we ended up in, or rather outside, the bar anyway...had a nice time talking to some people but we were just not in the best party mood... we went back to E's place, had a tea there and this time i was back home around 2:45 or something already :)
sunday finally, was just a lazy day...was on the phone with big sis for a (long) while, watched a live report from stockholm about the swedish king's birthday on ZDF (german tv, they're royal freaks there!), had a nice little lunch, did some laundry and took a bunch of pictures of mr. binkie :)
