jenny, who's been living in norway for almost 4 years now, was in NL last week! we hadn't seen each other since summer '03 so it was really cool we could meet in Amsterdam last Friday!
unfortunately Marèse couldn't join us, she was stuck in Antwerp preparing for exams & finishing her thesis (something i should really do as well!).
so jenny & i met for lunch, then went to my office to go through loooooooaaaad of OZ pictures from when she was there this winter (or summer, depends how you look at it :P), that was really cool!
then we went shopping, of course i couldn't resist buying some more clothes...but i also found the shoes i really wanted, yaay! when we sat down at the spui to enjoy an australian icecream we suddenly saw people looking at the sky....it was freaky black!!! we were just in time to run to the waterstone's bookstore before the rain started...and went on...and on....and on...until much later that night!
so we did get wet going to the trainstation later on......
